Training that captures attention

The Learning & Development team at ONA Hotels & Apartments needed to refresh their training materials to better engage teams in both online sessions and in-person workshops. The new content also had to meet three key requirements: offer a more attractive design, adapt to different departments while maintaining brand identity, and integrate easily into their corporate LMS.


At the same time, the company’s expansion and workforce growth introduced an additional challenge: scaling training and aligning an increasingly diverse team under the same quality standards.

The solution

Interactive, scalable training aligned with business goals

The Learning & Development team implemented a more dynamic, scalable, and business-aligned training strategy with Genially:

  • Interactive onboarding: the onboarding process was redesigned as an interactive escape room, where new hires take a virtual tour of the company’s properties.
  • Scenario-based leadership training: for manager training, simulations and decision-making scenarios were created to replicate real-life situations, allowing teams to practice key skills with immediate feedback.
  • More dynamic learning experiences: online training and in-person workshops now include challenges, simulations, quizzes, contests, and bite-sized content that encourage active participation.
  • Agile corporate content creation: thanks to Genially’s low learning curve and use of templates, the training team can quickly design reports, project presentations, guides, and additional resources collaboratively and efficiently.
  • Integration with the training ecosystem: interactive content integrates seamlessly into the corporate LMS via SCORM, enabling activity tracking, scalability, and brand consistency.

 

This approach allowed ONA Hotels & Apartments to take their training strategy further with the creation of a new ‘corporate university’ project: Ona University, a dedicated digital environment where learning evolves alongside the business and supports continuous team growth.
