In all my time working in EdTech, I don’t think I’ve found a tool that can do as much as Genially.

What is a choice board?
A choice board is a learning tool that offers students a menu of different activities. Students have the freedom to pick what they want to do, and how they go about it, for example, whether they want to watch a video, read an article, take a revision test, write an essay, or play a game.
As they’re a type of graphic organizer, choiceboards often have the form of a grid or table, but you can design creative boards with any kind of layout like a map or interactive image.
What’s different about Genially?
Unlike traditional boards made in docs or Google Slides, Genially choice boards are digital and interactive, featuring clickable buttons, multimedia, and pop-up content.
The interactive format allows teachers to create different options or “paths” that students can follow, according to their interests, level, mood, or learning preferences.
How do I use choice boards in my classes?
Choiceboards are a versatile tool for independent, student-led learning so they’re ideal for brain breaks, literacy stations, homework, and early finisher activities. Assign each learner their own personal board or allocate boards to small groups.
The goal is to empower students to choose their own learning activities and set learning goals, fostering a sense of agency and increasing student engagement.
