In a context where printed books are still the dominant format in the classroom, ALMA Edizioni faced a key challenge: responding to the growing demand for digital content without relying exclusively on ebooks. Their digital resources were available, but they weren’t always used in the classroom.

 

The goal was clear: enrich the physical book with interactive experiences accessible from mobile devices, making them easy to use for both teachers and students, with no friction or technical barriers.

The solution

Interactive experiences directly from the book

ALMA Edizioni integrated experiences created with Genially directly into its textbooks using QR codes. This made it possible to complement the book with dynamic activities, pronunciation exercises, and other interactive content—all accessible from a mobile device.

 

Adoption was gradual, starting with a key title, “Nuovo Espresso PLUS”, and expanding step by step to the rest of the six-book collection. Ease of use, fast content creation, and strong visual quality made internal adoption seamless, without the need for complex processes or extensive team training.
