What is Genially Certified Essentials

Proven skills, not a completed course

Genially Certified Essentials is Genially's official entry-level certification.

It accredits that you can apply the fundamentals of the tool to create interactive content that is clear, functional and adapted to a specific objective.

Completing the preparatory course certifies nothing on its own. The credential comes from passing the official assessment.

Certification architecture

The first level of Genially's official certification

Essentials validates an initial, applied foundation. It does not accredit advanced professional mastery, nor does it allow you to deliver training on behalf of Genially.

Three routes

Choose how you want to prepare

There is no single path. Choose the route that fits your knowledge, your time and your context.

What Essentials validates

Six areas, one standard

Essentials checks that you can apply a clear, functional and useful foundation across six areas. The same standard applies to every context.

  • Judgement in use

Identify when Genially adds value and when a simpler format is the better choice.

  • Structure and navigation

Organize information to create an experience that is easy to understand and move through.

  • Interactivity with intent

Use interactive resources to guide, activate or reinforce the message, not just to decorate.

  • Visual clarity

Create content that is clean, legible and coherent with the stated objective.

  • Quality and accessibility

Apply solid criteria for contrast, legibility, order and review before publishing.

  • Contextual application

Solve a simple practical task within a real context.

Four contexts, four credentials

Choose your certification

Each option leads to a distinct credential, badge and certificate. Choosing a context does not limit you — it lets you apply what you know where it counts.
